VIS at the Mc2 Opening Ceremony
Supporting the next generation of engineers by connecting academic excellence with real-world industry innovation through collaboration, mentorship, and shared technological ambition.

The intersection of academic ambition and industry experience is where true innovation begins. Recently, VIS had the distinct honor of participating in the opening ceremony of Mc2, a long-standing student competition organized by the Zagreb University of Applied Sciences (TVZ). For over a decade, this initiative has been a cornerstone of the Croatian IT community, creating a vital link between the next generation of talent and leading technology companies. Representing the VIS journey, our CEO and speaker Miljenko Vuković took the stage to share the story of our growth, emphasizing that success in the tech world is rarely a straight line.
The presentation highlighted how a fundamental engineering mindset - rooted in logic and precision, serves as the bedrock for solving complex problems. However, technical skill alone is not enough; it must be coupled with unwavering persistence to navigate the inherent fluctuations of the industry and a commitment to continuous learning to stay relevant in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

At VIS, we believe that our responsibility extends beyond delivering solutions; it involves nurturing the local tech ecosystem. There is a unique inspiration found in watching young developers and engineers transform abstract concepts into tangible, real-world applications. This synergy between academic theory and industry practice is essential for the continued growth of the Croatian IT sector. By supporting initiatives like Mc2, we remain dedicated to empowering students as they transition into the professional world. It is truly inspiring to witness such high levels of energy and creativity, and we are proud to stand behind a platform that cultivates the engineers of tomorrow.
